Enabling Trust in Private Aviation Ratings
Overview
JetPinion is a platform designed to bring transparency to the private aviation industry by allowing flight brokers and operators to review one another. In an industry where relationships and reliability are key, brokers often need more background to assess new partners. Jetpinion aims to fill this gap by enabling brokers and operators to share their experiences, ensuring more informed decision-making. Our objective was to design a streamlined, user-friendly MVP allowing brokers to easily review and rate private jet operators, fostering transparency and trust within the industry.
The Problem
As a platform built on user insight, making user flows quick and effortless is essential to growing the knowledge base and therefore value brokers and operators receive. Allowing employees to quickly set up company profiles that represent them adequately, making registration effortless by assigning brokers to companies automatically, and requiring minimum user input for leaving a review. All of which, required creative ways to acquire said information.
Employing
Lean UX
Given that the client runs multiple flight brokerage and operator firms, the platform will see its thorough evaluation through internal testing. The goal was to design an MVP as quickly as possible and allow its live testing to start growing the platform’s most important asset, user data.
Think
Together with the stakeholders and JetPinion team we hypothesized user pain points and conducted user interviews to learn more about how brokers select operators.
Make
Our hypothesis, through ideation, leads us to our best shot at solving the problem, by creating intuitive and stunning interfaces we can test.
Check
With a speedy launch, the platform is currently being internally tested to discover how we can improve on the work of brokers and operators alike.
Key Features
Broker insights are invaluable. We utilised progressive disclosure, simple (optional) steps, and a sleek interface to maximize success rates.
The main benefit of the platform is being able to pick out, and quickly learn about brokers and aircraft. This leaves little room for insufficiently presented information.
We planned algorithm to suggest the most relevant results based on the user’s browsing and booking history, providing the right flight operators in a single click.
Results
While the MVP has yet to fully launch, initial internal feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The client’s employees have been testing the platform and have praised its simplicity and the value it brings to the industry.
